Bad Men equals bad plot, bad writing and bad characters. I really wanted to like this book but, halfway through, I started getting uneasy.

The story was confusing, head hopping between dozens of different characters, many of whom were so flat out crazy it wasn't possible to believe that people this sick could walk down a street without sending 4/5.

Very good writer who, like Burke, weaves a tale that is both of this world and otherworldly at the same time. The Bad Bad men book are truly BAD as they roam across the country leaving dead and maimed bodies in their wake. Moloch is /5().

Dathan Auerbach has written my favorite book of the year.” —Thomas Olde Heuvelt, author of Hex “With Penpal Auerbach freaked us out. With Bad Man he’s got a bigger canvas, and, it seems, a sharper shovel, as he’s dug deeper here and found a totally unsettling story about never giving up on a loss.4/5().

Bad Boys, Bad Men is an interesting book. It is a matter of some concern however that Amazon have failed to provide a refund for a faulty Samsung laptop which was returned to A&S by: BadMen is exactly the work Hoffman describes in the introduction: a small hysterical book not meant to be an even-handed or comprehensive look at online advertising.

The book was interesting, as I was completely unfamiliar with the subject but not particularly informative (there is ad-fraud and the industry's practices are questionable. i could have guessed that)/5(23). BAD MAN, by Dathan Auerbach, is the first book I have read by this author.

While there were some horrific elements (the loss of a child would hit just about anyone as horror), I saw this as more of a mystery/sometimes delving into fantasy/5.

The book made a significant ripple in the horror community, leading now to the mainstream publication of Auerbach’s larger, darker, more ambitious second novel, “Bad Man.”. Bad Men. Inthe settlers on the small Maine island of Sanctuary were betrayed to their enemies and slaughtered.

Since then, the island has known three centuries of peace. Until now. A band of killers is descending on Sanctuary, their purpose to hunt down and kill the wife of their leader, and retrieve the money she stole from him.

Bloodletters and Badmen is a fine coffee table book about the history of crime in America. Open to pretty much any page and you'll find an intriguing article; and with over six hundred pages there's certainly a lot to get through/5(50).

Reading Bad Women and Wicked Women made me miss the older books: Genevieve, Milk in my Coffee, and Cheaters just to name a few. The lust is still there. The intense passion is magnified. But I miss the relatable characters. The characters in this new novel have little in common with the every day person/5.

BAD: Is the first instalment in Stevie J Coles and L.P. Lovells (Bad, Dirty, Power #1) series and is a dark novel. True power is never held by good men, only the most perfect of villains. Ronan Cole is a man to be reckoned with when he outwitted his father at eighteen and became one very powerful man, the new4/5.

My library. Dathan Auerbach’s pitch-black "Bad Man," a horror thriller that preys on familial fears, is a study of the lonely existence of a social outcast. Burke once said: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men should do nothing.” The search for the origin of this famous quotation has led to controversy.

One disagreement involved the important reference book Bartlett’s Familiar Quotations and the well-known word maven William Safire. Why "Twilight" is Worse Than Just a Bad Book Fear of your lover should never be an aphrodisiac. Ever.
